After the precious-metals-bearing scrap has been processed on the refinery floor, samples of each lot are sent to the Metallix Lab where they are tested for their precious-metal type and content. We can detect gold, silver, platinum, palladium, and rhodium through our methods which include fire assay, chemical analysis, X-ray and ICP.
