In our Wet Chemical Department, we can process cyanide and acid solutions that contain precious metals.
Cyanide
We purchase precious-metal-bearing cyanide solutions containing gold and silver. The precious metals are recovered electrolytically onto metal cathodes or by precipitation.
The cyanide solution is broken down into carbon, nitrogen and water, and properly disposed of in accordance with government regulations.
Acid
For high-grade precious metals, we use acid processing to dissolve, separate, precipitate and purify gold, silver, platinum and palladium. Our process utilizes glass-lined tanks ranging in capacity from 100 gallons to 750 gallons, to accommodate the wide variety and volume of precious-metal-bearing scrap that we purchase.
Additionally, our state-of-the-art scrubbers clean the gasses emitted during the refining process.
